“Cabbage Evenings” methodological development (preparatory group) on the topic

Menu, serving

The menu for a kindergarten party does not require any special delights. Only a sweet table and light snacks are quite appropriate - sandwiches, cold cuts, vegetables and fruits. Like at matinees in kindergarten. If there is a feast at the party, prepare a simple homemade meal - potatoes with chicken or cutlets, a few salads, etc.

But it’s worth trying hard to serve the dishes. Although you can invite a “canteen worker”, in a white robe and cap. Let him arrange goodies from large pots - it will be fun to stand in line for a cutlet with compote (although this is more for school).

We offer several ideas for serving in a kindergarten style. It is not necessary to implement them all; a few will be enough for the atmosphere:

  • Lay out a bright tablecloth with teddy bears and balls, buy napkins and disposable tableware with children's drawings. If you plan to sit at the table, decorate the chairs with ribbon balloons and place a bib at each plate;
  • make stands from wooden cubes: glue 5x5 cubes onto plywood, glue 4 legs at the bottom, one or more cubes high. The result will be a bright thematic decoration, functional - several tiers of treats always look more profitable;
  • The theme of the party will be emphasized by dishes decorated in the style of a kindergarten. Fly agarics made from tomatoes, hedgehogs made from eggs , funny faces made from vegetables on sandwiches, butterfly birds on salads;

  • Place fruits, vegetables and candy in the backs of toy trucks. Cover the undercarriage with plasticine to prevent the cars from rolling off the table. For serving, you can use molds and buckets; instead of spoons, put plastic scoops on the salads. Have a doll tea party: arrange desserts in toy dishes, place them around Barbie and elegant dolls;
  • just for fun, you can solemnly take out... semolina porridge , solyanka and fish cutlets! Who is the smartest guy here, who eats the best?
  • If possible, pour alcohol into “harmless” bottles. Or simply replace the labels “beer”, “wine” with “lemonade”, “juice”. Pour the punch into the bucket labeled “compote.” The theme will be “kindergarten” juices - tomato, pumpkin and apple (perhaps useful for cocktails).

If you are celebrating a birthday, buy or order a bright, stylized cake. And deliberately forget to add the first number - let the birthday boy celebrate his fifth birthday instead of 25.

Suits

Look at the kindergarten photos, you will immediately have a lot of ideas for costumes for the party. The simplest option is an outfit “in the style” of the child. For boys, short shorts, socks, sneakers and bright T-shirts. For girls - sundresses or colorful skirts with T-shirts, bright or snow-white knee socks, sandals.

Braid your hair, tie bows, apply barely noticeable makeup (if you can’t do without makeup). More costume options for a kindergarten themed party:

  • the image of a winged fairy or princess in a fluffy dress, with a bow at the waist, and a cardboard crown on her head;
  • a character from any famous cartoon or fairy tale (better than ours). For example, three inseparable friends in the form of... three little pigs! Or a portly man with a fragile companion - Malysh and Carlson. Have fun!
  • bunnies, squirrels, foxes, butterflies ... Who else were we in kindergarten? Dickey, tail, ears - ready. You don't have to dress up like a woolen nightmare.

It will be funny if among the guests there are “absent-minded” children: a T-shirt inside out, different socks, one bow (and lost from the second braid). Make accessories for the forgetful: animal masks, caps, bibs, horn ears. They will be useful for photos, and just for the surroundings, even if everyone comes in suitable kindergarten outfits.

Invitations

Since the party is for kindergarten, hand-made invitations would be appropriate - made of colored paper, with appliqué, not too neatly painted. You can make invitation cards in the shape of a popsicle, a lollipop, a tumbler, a car, a bucket with scoops (the same or different, who gets which one).

Write the text, carefully imitating children's handwriting. You can “accidentally” make a couple of mistakes, cross it out with a pencil and write the correct letter on top. An invitation in poetic form is also on topic.

The Internet is full of invitations almost in the style of a kindergarten - with our cartoon characters, flowers, butterflies, etc. You can download templates or buy something similar.
