Treasure Hunt
Quests are what children of all ages love. Finding a specific object using clues is not only a kind of sports game for a child, but also an excellent way to establish communication with adults. The simplest quest for preschoolers looks like this:
- We hide the treasure in a secluded place.
- Let's draw a simple diagram of how to get from point A to point B, overcoming obstacles (you must think through the logical chain of quest tasks).
- We build obstacles: we make a tunnel from chairs covered with fabric; We attach ropes to the wall bars (you need to climb them and find a piece of paper with a hint), etc. - whatever your imagination is enough for.
- Children will gradually move from one clue to the next, running and jumping excitedly.
- As soon as the kids find the treasure, give them sweet gifts.
Of course, the best quests for children are held outdoors: where children can bury a treasure box in the sand, climb a tree and pick an apple with a clue, run around a house three times, etc. If you conduct quests indoors, limit yourself to a small number of tasks - up to 5 and be sure to clear the room of furniture with sharp corners.
The quest can be made simpler: write several tasks and hide them around the apartment. For example:
- guess the birthday boy’s favorite toy in which the next clue is hidden;
- guess the rebus where the new clue is hidden;
- put together a picture from different parts, where the location of the treasure or clue is marked, etc.
Imagination and the desire to make the quest as interesting and bright as possible will tell parents all sorts of options for tasks to find the treasure.
Pencil kids playing
Our task is not easy - we need to keep little guests from one to five years old busy with interesting games, quizzes, and competitions. It is desirable that they be interesting to both children and parents. I bring to your attention 3 interesting games (read how to spend a birthday for a one-year-old child here).
Clothespins
Both toddlers and older children can participate in this competition. The adult (driver) takes at least 50 bright clothespins, shows them to the children and explains the rules of the game: “You turn away from me and count to 20, and meanwhile I attach clothespins to any objects in this room.”
Children must collect all the clothespins. The one who has the most will win. At the end of the game, be sure to give prizes to all participants: erasers, pencils, sweets, coloring books.
Balloon fight
Try playing the fun sports competition “Balloon Fight”. To implement it you will need balloons (pink and blue). Divide the children into 2 teams, give each team several balls.
The rules are as follows: while the music is playing, boys and girls must throw their balls to the enemy’s side. Believe me, this is very difficult, because the balls are light! As soon as the music stops, the adult counts how many balls are on both sides. The team that can throw the most balls wins.
Harvesting
Children 3-4 years old will definitely enjoy the game “Harvest.” Its meaning is that you scatter apples, chestnuts, carrots, potatoes, pears on the floor (these can be pictures with images of products, as well as artificial vegetables and fruits).
Give each little one a bucket and turn on the music. At a signal, the children begin to collect crops from the floor. The one who collects the most harvest will receive a sweet prize.
