Educational fairy tale for preschool children “Green Hedgehog”
Author: Natalya Mikhailovna Golyshevskaya, senior teacher of MBDOU “Kindergarten No. 12” in Barnaul Purpose: this material is intended for preschool children Purpose: to expand preschoolers’ ideas about indoor plants Objectives: - to introduce children with features of appearance, structure, growing conditions of indoor plants; — teach how to perform labor actions to care for indoor plants; - develop curiosity, cognitive interest. Once upon a time there lived a Little Cactus. It was round, green and prickly. That's why they called him the Green Hedgehog. But he was prickly only on the outside, but in fact, the Cactus Child was very kind and sympathetic.

Recently, the owner separated him from his mother Cactus and planted him in a beautiful small pot. The little cactus liked his new house, but one thing upset him: plants unknown to him grew around him in large flower pots. But Little Cactus was sociable and inquisitive. He decided to get to know his “neighbors” better, because the Green Hedgehog so wanted to have friends! The first person the Cactus Kid dared to talk to was a plant with a thick, woody trunk, the round leaves of which looked like coins.

“Excuse me, please,” said the Green Hedgehog, a little embarrassed, “what is your name?” “People call me the money tree, people believe that I bring wealth and prosperity to the house, but scientifically I am called the tree crassula,” answered the tree. My homeland is the African savannah, so I love the sun. I also love it when my pot is turned from time to time, then I grow into a slender and beautiful tree. - Tell me, aren’t you bored of standing on the windowsill all the time? - asked Cactus. - No, of course, in winter I can watch what is happening outside the window, and in the warm season they send me “to the dacha,” that is, they take me out into the fresh air - onto the balcony. Here another plant with unusually beautiful leaves, on which bright red veins and spots stood out, intervened in the conversation: “And my name is arrowroot, I really love humidity and am afraid of direct sunlight, so I like it when the owner sprays my leaves with lukewarm water.” And I can also pick up leaves and fold them at dusk and even a few hours before rain, like a real barometer.

The little cactus listened very carefully to the stories of the plants, because he was still small and did not know much. An unusual plant grew in one of the pots; its dark green sword-shaped leaves with a pointed apex and light transverse stripes resembled fish scales. It turned out that this is a sansevieria, which is simply called “pike tail”. The little cactus even felt a little funny when he heard this name.

Suddenly the door opened and the hostess entered the room. In her hands was a pot with a very beautiful plant. “Meet this, this is your new neighbor,” she said (the owner often talked to her pets, because she believed that flowers, like living beings, understand everything and love when you communicate with them) “this is a fern. It will not only decorate the room, but also help clean the air from dust and harmful substances. It’s just a pity that the ferns don’t bloom, but they delight you with their varied leaves: huge, tiny and even curly.

The hostess put the pot down and left. So a “newbie” appeared on the windowsill. He quickly got used to the new environment and proudly talked about the fact that ferns are the oldest inhabitants of the Earth, existed along with dinosaurs and have survived to this day. So the Green Hedgehog not only met his “neighbors”, but also learned a lot of interesting and useful things.

The Tale of the Toad and the Rose

A beautiful and slightly sad story about the eternal confrontation between good and evil. In this fairy tale by Vsevolod Garshin, a silent but beautiful rose shared with the world a delicate aroma, which contained her love, prayer, and words. With its inner light, the flower tried to warm and delight all living things, living a short and bright life not in vain. And the nasty toad, who lives for himself and to fill his belly, was left with nothing.

A story about flowers for children 5-8 years old

Flower meadows
Author: Daniil Bukarev, student of school No. 401, Kolpino St. Petersburg 8 years old Leader: Efimova Alla Ivanovna, teacher of GBDOU No. 43, Kolpino St. Petersburg Description of the material: The material can be used as an introduction to the environment. I think it will be interesting and useful for educators, primary school teachers, and just ordinary citizens who love nature, flowers and everything beautiful. Goal: developing love for our native nature and the world around us. Objectives: - develop observation and attention to the surrounding world; — to cultivate a love for nature, a desire to appreciate and protect nature.

Today I want to tell you about the flower meadows that are located on our site. My beloved mother adores these clearings, or rather, she likes what grows in them. I myself am delighted with this beauty and want to introduce you to it. True, I don’t even know the names of many flowers, but over time I think I’ll learn and remember. Read and enjoy. We have a greenhouse, and very beautiful pink peonies grow next to the greenhouse. A whole bed of these wonderful flowers. We also grow white and red peonies.

We also have a lot of different tulips: double, regular, and there are tulips with two flowers blooming on one stem. And they are varied in color: white, red, red, dark burgundy. These beautiful flowers bloom very early. After they bloom, the mother waits until the stems dry, then digs up the bulbs, dries them in the shade and trims them. In the fall, my mother plants them in the ground and in the spring they delight us with flowering again.

Our whole family also really likes delphinium and phlox. True, this year there was a disaster; almost all the delphiniums froze to death. But we planted new ones and will wait for them to grow up. We grow different carnations, they bloom for a very long time and delight us with their flowering.

But the favorites of the garden have always been and will be roses and lilies. On our site there are probably 16 different roses and too many lilies to count. But mom buys and adds new seedlings every year. Neighbors come to us to admire and take pictures with my mother’s flowers. True, I photographed roses this year, they are just blooming. And cosmos is sown on its own and has filled almost the entire garden. But there is such beauty when everything is in flowers. Wonderful irises and daylilies also grow in the dacha. Why are the roots of these flowers bare? I always ask my mother how they grow like that. I tried to plant irises myself, but I buried the roots completely in the ground and they didn’t take root.

Of course, annual flowers also grow, we persuade mom not to plant them. There are so many worries with them, growing these seedlings suddenly doesn’t work out or doesn’t take root, it’s just a disappointment. But my mother always plants gladioli and dahlias, and at the bathhouse they always hang in pots and there are always petunias on the porch of the house.

We still have a lot of these wonderful flowers growing here: astilbes, clematis, asters, poppies, daisies and much more. Of course, mom grows vegetables and fruits, but flowers are her weakness. After all, in order for all this to grow and please the eye, you need to water, weed, loosen, and feed. Sometimes I help my mother water and remove the weeds that grow, but otherwise my mother says she can handle it herself. I want to wish you to love and grow flowers. They will delight you with their blossoms. Love all living things, Create miracles. And the world will become more beautiful, And the earth will rejoice.

Hope you enjoyed it. Until next time.

Tales of houseplants

My parents went on a business trip for a whole year. So I ended up with my grandparents in St. Petersburg. Then I couldn’t even imagine how much I would like them! And it all started like this...

“Eat, Alina,” my grandmother said, placing a plate of pea soup in front of me, “and I’ll go water the flowers.”

I ate soup and watched my grandmother water the flowers. In general, I am indifferent to indoor plants. There's a lot of fuss with them, and I don't like that. Grandma has so many plants! Flower pots are on window sills, on shelves, on cabinets and on the floor. Well, it’s like in a greenhouse! Grandma loves them very much: she wipes the leaves with them, sprinkles them with water, replants them and even talks to them. There’s just one thing I don’t understand: if she loves them so much, then why doesn’t she feed them?

– Why do you give the plants something to drink, but not something to eat?

- What kind of nonsense? – the grandmother answered and went with the watering can into another room.

“Why stupidity?” – I thought, gurgling with a spoon in the soup. “Well, let’s say, you don’t need to give them cutlets with noodles. They won't be able to chew them. Nothing. But the soup... They should like the soup!”

I left the table and ran up to grandma’s largest plant – our monstera! That's almost what her name is - monstera! Wonderful name! Although, of course, no more wonderful than asparagus Sprengeri or some aspidistra Elazior (my grandmother has all her pots with plants labeled). I love Monstera, he is my friend. She is amazing! Firstly, it takes up half of my grandmother’s kitchen. Secondly, its leaves are full of holes. Yes Yes! Not only are they huge, and two of my heads could fit under one of them at once (if I had two of them), but they are also full of holes! When I saw it, I kept wondering, who could cut even oval holes in the leaves? An idea struck me: I ran for scissors and, while no one was looking, tried to cut the same holes in the leaves of the cordyline. It turned out badly, the leaf was torn, and besides, the grandmother came in... And the monstera also has a lot of whiskers! They hang in the air. It looks like it’s a monstera, but it has a mustache! In short, a monster! And this is how we became friends. I ran out naked into the yard, and my grandmother said that she didn’t want to see me anymore because I didn’t listen to her and didn’t get dressed, and it was supposed to be raining. If I get wet and sick, she won’t treat me! I cried and sat down under the wide leaves of the monstera. I cried and cried and then...

Monstera started crying with me! I was so surprised that I stopped crying and ran to tell my grandmother everything.

- Well, what can I tell you! She probably felt sorry for you so much that she was upset herself. She's your friend.

Since then I have been friends with monstera and pronounce its name correctly.

- Here's some soup for you, eat it! - I said, climbing under the wide leaves and making my way to the tub. I was just about to knock over the plate when...

– Don’t pour out the soup, Alina! – a muffled voice was heard.

I quickly turned back! No, not grandma. Then who? I was speechless with fear.

- Who is speaking? – another voice squeaked very close.

The plate shook in my hands.

- Hey, you! Don't drop me!

Sitting on the very edge of the plate was what seemed to me a very familiar girl.

-What are you looking at? Long time no see!

– Your Stupidity, of course! – the girl answered, ruffling the hair on her head. – Pour out the soup and let’s see what happens!

- Don’t pour it out, Alina. I don't need anything other than some water! – Monstera begged. “I take all my food from the ground, and my grandmother fertilizes it well with minerals.

– Are these like nutritional supplements? – I clarified.

– Consider them food substances, only for plants they are called minerals.

– That’s why you’re all full of holes from your additives! – the voice of Stupidity rang. She grabbed Monstera's mustache with her hands and swung on it. - And I like these ropes!

- Oh! Don't tear it off! – I caught myself and, putting the plate on the floor, began to catch my Stupidity.

It turned out that it is not so simple! The stupidity seemed to fly from one mustache to another, sticking its tongue out at me and making faces.

- No need to make comments to me! I myself know what is oh and what is not!

“Don’t worry, Alina, such a tiny girl won’t be able to harm me.”

“You don’t know her,” I thought.

Only now I realized who Stupidity is like. I see her every day in the mirror...

“I think you’ll like it in my forest.” There you can jump from vine to vine and swing on them like on a swing,” said Monstera Stupidity.

- What forest is this in? You're from a pot! – Stupidity laughed, throwing her head back so that she almost fell off the leaf she had already managed to climb onto.

- Well, I didn’t always sit in the potty! Alina, I invite you on a little trip. I have long wanted to tell you about myself.

– I don’t want to listen to anything! - answered Stupidity. “I don’t need to know anything, I already know everything.”

“But, in my opinion, no one invited you,” I objected.

“You don’t need to invite me anywhere, I go everywhere myself!” – Stupidity arched her stomach, folding her arms over her chest.

- I'll show you where I live! - said Monstera. - To do this, you need to dive into any hole in my sheet.

- What nonsense! - said Stupidity, and she quickly ducked into the hole.

How surprised I was when the stubborn one didn’t jump out from the back of the sheet!

- How can I get rid of her? – I got angry.

-What does grandma say?

- Grandma says that you can’t escape your stupidity. So I will live with her until I wiser up.

– We all respect your grandmother. If he says so, it means he knows. Well, shall we go?

- Let's go, but how can I get through such a small hole?

- Put your finger down. Just don't be afraid of anything!

I chose the largest leaf and the largest hole on it, lowered my finger and...

I was spun, spun and pulled somewhere, like into a vacuum cleaner!

When the flickering stopped, I couldn’t believe my eyes!

“How do people walk here?” I thought.

- I'm suffocating! - shouted a voice familiar to me. - Where are you? There is absolutely nothing to breathe here!

“It’s really like being in a bathhouse,” I thought.

- This is a tropical forest! – answered a loud and booming voice.

Stupidity crouched down in fear, and I watched with all my eyes as a huge fairy-tale “snake” wrapped around a tall tree began to unwind and go down. It was our Monstera!

- How huge you are! You are not a bush, but a whole tree! – I exclaimed.

- No, Alina! I am not a bush or a tree, I am a vine.

“Is this a different…” Stupidity froze and rolled her eyes, remembering something, “a type of snake?”

– This is the name given to those plants that are looking for support for themselves because they cannot independently hold their stem vertically.

- Just think, some kind of vine! He can't even stand!

I felt ashamed of my stupidity! After all, what she just said were my words! But I don’t always have time to say them out loud. And it’s very good that I don’t have time, otherwise it would look stupid from the outside. Sometimes it comes to me! I'm not happy with myself.
