Fostering a value-based attitude towards health is one of the most important tasks of the preschool level of education. To develop motivation for a healthy lifestyle, you need an emotionally positive attitude and interest in the rules of health-preserving and safe behavior.

Health Day is a form of organizing educational, educational, health-preserving activities that evokes an emotional response in both children and adults. Regular holding of such days helps to strengthen physical and mental health, and the formation of a value-based attitude towards a healthy lifestyle in preschool children.

Health Day in our kindergarten is not just part of educational work, it is also a holiday for children, their parents and employees.

Early in the morning we greeted children and their parents with wishes of health and cheerful music. During the morning segment of time, a fascinating conversation “Wishing health in the morning” was held with the children. Then the children went to the ceremonial assembly, where the senior teacher Tatyana Lvovna, wishing everyone to spend Health Day with benefit, presented a letter for the children with an invitation to the Land of Health. While listening to cheerful music, the children performed the “Do exercises, you’ll be fine” warm-up and received a boost of energy and good mood. Throughout the day, the children traveled through the stations of the “Country of Health”. We visited the “Visiting Moidodyr” station, where we deepened our knowledge about personal hygiene items, the need to wash our hands and face, and take care of our appearance. And then the children were treated to a delicious and healthy breakfast at the “Healthy Food” station. After breakfast, the journey through the Land of Health continued, and the children and I went to the “Entertaining, Informative” station, where we learned the rules of hardening the body, preserving and strengthening health. After visiting the “Fruktovaya” nutrition station, the children enjoyed vitamin juice. At the next station, “Igrovaya,” the children consolidated their knowledge of healthy and unhealthy foods, played communicative games and performed exercises to develop speech breathing.

At the Multi-Pulti station we watched cartoons about a healthy lifestyle. Having stopped at the “Magic Dream” station, the children exchanged their emoticons for vitamins, and did not forget about the prevention of flat feet; the children liked the massage paths so much that they walked along them several times with a smile on their faces.

In the afternoon, interesting, exciting competitions, role-playing games, outdoor games, sketches, and reading fiction were held; memorizing proverbs, sayings about health, looking at illustrations, photographs, paintings about health, creating problem-based game and practical situations aimed at developing ideas about a healthy lifestyle, preserving and strengthening physical, mental, and somatic health. The journey through the “Land of Health” ended with an interesting crossword puzzle “Health is a magical country.”

The children were delighted with the “Health Day”, received a boost of cheerfulness and good mood, a lot of knowledge, and then for a long time they remembered the holiday with warmth and wished each other health!

In our kindergarten, caring for the health of children is one of the priorities. Annually held health festivals , sports competitions, physical education events and leisure activities help children to join a healthy lifestyle in a fun , easy and joyful way.
