Objective of the project:

Increasing the role of family values ​​in the development of a child’s personality and his moral education.

Project objectives:

• Create conditions for effective interaction between kindergarten and family to familiarize preschoolers with the world of moral values ​​of family traditions.

• Provide parents with theoretical knowledge and practical skills

positive interaction with children in various activities.

• Arouse interest among children and parents in the family and its history.

• Show children the importance of family in the life of every person. To instill in children love and respect for their parental home, family, their loved ones, and the older generation.

Statement of the problem : From birth, a child is a discoverer, an explorer of this or that world that surrounds him, especially the world of his family. Formation of love and respect for parents in children; give the child the opportunity to actually independently touch family values, traditions, and principles of life; find unexpected discoveries by learning about the lives of grandparents.

Problems that the project aims to solve

Raising a child is a very multifaceted process. It unites all areas of our lives, whether we like it or not. Everything that surrounds children, one way or another, influences the formation of personality. But the family has the greatest strength and power. Parents are the first whom the child meets, the first who surround him and take care of him, the first who significantly influence him. And even no matter how much time you spend with your child, it will primarily copy the behavior of its parents.

• Disintegration of continuity of generations, disappearance of family traditions.

• The extremely low level of moral culture of the majority of modern parents as insufficient competence of the family in matters of moral formation and education of the child’s personality.

• Loss of the family function of transmitting significant cultural and life values ​​to children.

• Lack of knowledge among preschoolers about their family and its history.

• Distorted ideas about the meaning of human life and true values ​​among the younger generation of raising adults.

• Disconnection between family and kindergarten.

The family is the first social institution that a child encounters in life and is a part of. The family occupies a central place in the upbringing of a child, plays a major role in shaping the worldview, moral standards of behavior, feelings, social and moral appearance and position of the child. In a family, raising children should be based on love, experience, traditions, and personal example from the childhood of relatives and friends. And no matter what aspect of a child’s development we consider, it will always turn out that the family plays the main role in the formation of his personality at different age stages.

Project implementation

At organized meetings with parents, we try to explain to them how important their personal example, joint activities, and heart-to-heart conversations are for conveying moral and moral ideas to children. Throughout the school year, consultations were held for parents on the topics “The influence of parental attitudes on child development”, “Computer and TV - pros and cons”, “Bad habits in childhood”, Rewards and punishments - a reasonable balance”, “How to tell fairy tales to children” . The events “Kindergarten - you and me, a friendly family”, “Morals of my family”, and the “Tree of Wishes” and “Rainbow of Mood” events were held.

The lessons and conversations from the “My Family” series are valuable in their content.

The group regularly conducts classes on the topic “Lessons of Goodness,” during which they talk about moral and ethical values, mercy and respect for elders.

The trainings “Kindergarten, you and I are a friendly family”, “Moral values ​​of my family” had a significant impact. The main goal of such projects is to strengthen the family, family values, traditions, cultivate moral qualities in children, involve children and adults in the creative process; communication between parents and children.

Fostering a caring attitude towards nature is an important part in the moral development of a child’s personality.

Thematic consultations, reminders, and booklets for parents have been developed.

Love for animals is a good, cheerful feeling, the basis of many

the most important moral qualities: compassion, desire to show care, attitude towards the weak. To this end, a series of conversations and classes were held.

According to parents, preserving family values, respect for them, and reviving traditions have a beneficial effect on positive relationships in the family. Children develop a sense of responsibility, mutual care, help, respect towards their family and friends

Consequences of solving the problem

The competence of parents in matters of family education increases. The continuity of family generations is being restored. Children will receive the necessary information about their family, its history, traditions and customs.

There is an exchange of experiences of family upbringing and traditions. Search for new forms of interaction between teachers and parents.

Expected Results

We believe that the main result, which our work is aimed at, is the child’s assimilation of eternal values: mercy, compassion, love for family and friends, in his desire for good and rejection of evil.

The following events were carried out within the framework of the project:

1. Day of Smile. On this day, an action was held in senior groups “Rainbow of Mood”. The children chose their mood in the morning and evening by color, and then we played games with them aimed at developing empathy, the ability to feel and understand themselves and others.

2. Friendship Day. This day was especially memorable for the parents. Parents of older groups were invited to the event “Kindergarten, you and I are a friendly family.” The games were aimed at uniting the parent group of the group, for example, “Caterpillar”, Web of Compliments, come up with a group motto; to improve parent-child relationships, for example, “On the Bridge”, “Family Daisy”; as well as on parents’ awareness of the difficulties of educational work. Many parents, having been in the role of educators, said that we would never become educators, how difficult it is.

3. Kindness Day. This day was remembered for the “tree of good wishes” campaign. All parents and children were invited to participate in the campaign and write a good wish to the kindergarten staff on leaves and attach the leaf to a birch tree. There were many wishes, all of them were read out to the employees. They wished them health, success, happiness, patience, good and obedient children, prosperity, and to always be greeted with a smile.

4. A lesson was held with the children on the topic “what is kindness”, they remembered their good deeds, deeds and attached a leaf to a tree.

5. Day of Tolerance. On this day it was said that we live as one family, that we are friends among peoples and each nation has its own interesting traditions. So, we decided to introduce the children to one of the numerous nationalities in the Tyumen region - the Kazakhs. Parents and children went on a trip to Kazakhstan. Parents and children remembered making camels out of colored salt in glass vessels, as well as drinking tea in a Kazakh yurt, prepared by the group teacher.

6. Family Day. This day was dedicated to family, family values ​​and traditions. An exhibition of children's works “my family” was organized and parents and children of the middle group were invited to the event “my family values”. In one of the tasks, I asked parents and children to jointly draw the coat of arms of their family. It is diagnostic to observe how parents interact with their children, who is in charge, how responsibilities are divided, and what the drawing turns out to be. For some it was a nest with birds and chicks, a house and the whole family, while for others it was one child and no one else. Parents expressed that they had never thought about what kind of coat of arms they might have, and how difficult it is to come up with and put meaning into a drawing.

Result: I believe that we were able to create conditions for effective interaction between kindergarten and family to familiarize preschoolers with the world of moral values ​​of family traditions. They aroused interest among children and parents in the family and its history. We managed to show children the importance of family in the life of every person and brought parents and their children closer together.

Project name: Project on spiritual and moral education of the population of the Service Department of the MBUK "ACBS" named after. Prince G.E. Lvov “The Spiritual ABC of the Library” for 2013 - 2015.

Problem: In modern society there is a crisis of spiritual and moral values. The most vulnerable areas turned out to be such areas as moral health, culture, patriotism, and spirituality. The spiritual and moral crisis gives rise to crisis phenomena in politics, economics, and the social sphere of our country. Salvation in overcoming the crisis for Russia can be the restoration and dissemination of traditional spiritual and moral culture.

Justification of the need for the project

Spirituality is the manifestation in a person of qualities that are in no way connected with our world. These qualities give a person the opportunity for internal growth in order to gain the power of a creator. The concept of “spirituality” is multifaceted: it is the desire to understand the world, determining the place and role of man in it, treating a person’s personality and his creativity as the highest goal and value of the development of society, subordinating material interests to spiritual ones. The concept of spirituality includes faith in God, familiarization with cultural values, and love for one’s native land.

Spiritual and moral education consists of many aspects, including the education of patriotism and citizenship, the instillation of family and spiritual values, the cultivation of love for one’s small homeland, one’s land, the prevention of bad habits, and the inculcation of a desire for a healthy lifestyle.

Russian society is currently experiencing a spiritual and moral crisis. The current situation is a reflection of the changes that have occurred in public consciousness and government policy. On the one hand, democratic processes are strengthening in various spheres of public life, a dialogue of cultures is developing, and Russia is actively joining the world community. On the other hand, negative phenomena are growing: lack of spirituality, social stratification, criminalization of society. The moral revival of Russia is unthinkable without spiritual education, since the spiritual principle is the highest thing that shapes, defines a personality and affirms its status in society. Spiritual and moral education today is a task of paramount importance not only for the church and educational institutions, but also for cultural institutions.

And this is no coincidence. The words “library” and “Bible” come from the Greek biblion - book. And this is deeply symbolic. Scripture says, “In the beginning was the Word.” The word is the material embodiment of the spirit, human thought, the spiritual fruits of the human mind, the basis of communication. The word gave birth to language. Language gave birth to the book. The book gave birth to the library. Following this logical chain, we can say that libraries are destined by God himself to be the guardians and preachers of spirituality in all its manifestations, in order to contribute to the preservation of the connection of times, and therefore of man himself.

Due to their specific activities, cultural institutions are not only the guardians of the historical and cultural memory of the people, but are also responsible for preserving the cultural traditions of the peoples of Russia, and are responsible for the formation of a system of positive values ​​in society. It can be said that cultural institutions bear full responsibility for the preservation and dissemination of spiritual and moral values ​​accumulated by humanity over its centuries-old history.

The tasks of libraries at the present stage are not only the promotion of books, but also ensuring the accessibility of sociocultural information for various groups of disabled people and the elderly, improving the mechanisms of socialization and education of elderly people, organizing their leisure time, and creating a positive and interested attitude of society towards the disabled and the elderly.

Therefore, it is necessary in libraries to use such methods of work that can ensure full and prompt satisfaction of the informational and spiritual needs of older people in a form accessible to them, will help improve their quality of life and increase their social status. Ideally, public libraries should be recognized as special institutions of social work.

We, librarians, would like the library to become a place where one can find the answer to almost any question in the field of morality, spirituality, psychology, aesthetics, and creativity. It is no coincidence that the outstanding English scientist and ethnographer D. Lubbock said: “Each of us can find peace of mind, consolation in sadness, moral renewal and happiness in the library.”

Our project “Spiritual ABC of the Library” was developed to create favorable conditions for the spiritual and moral education of various categories and social strata of the population of the Aleksinsky district, creating a system of public access to spiritual and cultural heritage.

Basis for development

Main goal: consolidation of the work of educational, cultural, social protection institutions to restore the spiritual and moral culture of society; identification and dissemination of experience in high-quality spiritual and moral education and upbringing of the population, development and implementation of advanced library techniques; the formation of information resources of a spiritual and moral orientation, the creation of a system of public access to spiritual and cultural heritage and the organization of work with it; development within the framework of the project of a program to familiarize schoolchildren with the Bible and implementation of program activities.

The objectives of the Program are aimed at promoting the spiritual culture and civic position of social strata of the population, introducing innovative forms and methods of spiritual and educational activities into the practice of the library.

The project provides for solving the following tasks:

  • creation of a system of spiritual and moral education and upbringing of the population, conditions for its successful implementation;
  • implementation of library practice and implementation of innovative forms and methods of library activities to form spiritual culture, moral and civic position among library users and the population;
  • joint activities of the library on spiritual and moral education of the population, including socially vulnerable segments of the population of various categories and ages, with the Orthodox Church and other social institutions of the Aleksinsky district;
  • creation within the framework of the project of an effective program in the field of spiritual and moral education of the population.

Main directions of project implementation:

  • organizing an information support system for continuous spiritual and moral education and mass dissemination of knowledge to help the spiritual development of the individual through mass work among various categories of the population of the Aleksinsky district;
  • assistance in social rehabilitation, meeting the reading needs of older people;
  • development of cooperation with the Orthodox Church and other social institutions;
  • developing the population’s need to read literature and perceive information on spiritual and moral education;
  • appeal to the spiritual and moral traditions and values ​​of the Russian people;
  • informational, educational and cultural activities;
  • development of a program to familiarize schoolchildren with the Bible as part of the project.
  • preserving the image of the library as a center for spiritual and moral education and enlightenment of the population.

Expected results:

  • the establishment of systematic and comprehensive work on spiritual and moral education and enlightenment of the population, a significant increase in the level of spiritual and moral consciousness of the population;
  • reduction of unfavorable social indicators and the severity of the spiritual and moral crisis (decrease in the level of crime among adolescents and youth, improvement of demographic and social indicators);
  • preservation of patriotic, cultural and spiritual heritage;
  • revival of spiritual and moral traditions among different segments of the population of the Aleksinsky district;
  • creation of a single educational space with the cooperation of Orthodoxy and culture;
  • ensuring accessibility of sociocultural information to socially vulnerable segments of the population of various categories and ages; establishing partnerships with organizations and institutions working with vulnerable populations;
  • development of a program to familiarize schoolchildren with the Bible as part of the project.

Main target groups for which the project is aimed

The project is aimed at spiritual and moral education and upbringing of the population of the Aleksinsky district of various categories and ages.

Implementation period: 2013-2015.

Stage I (pre-project): preparation of project documentation, selection of literature, reproductions of paintings, illustrations on the topic, preparation of an action plan.

Stage II (practical (productive): development of a set of activities for the project. Implementation of the main activities. Development of a program within the project to familiarize schoolchildren with the Bible, implementation of program activities.

Stage III (final): generalization of the results of the work, correlation of the results of the project implementation with the set goals and objectives, presentation of the project. Determining the prospects and ways of further work of the Library Service Department on spiritual and moral education of the population.

Stage IV (analytical): generalization of the experience of innovative activities of librarians who took part in the development of the project.

Practical significance of the project

The proposed forms and methods of work on spiritual and moral education of various categories of the population can be used by libraries in order to improve the quality of work in this direction.

Project results

Within the framework of this project it is provided:

  • purposeful formation of the core of the book fund, information resources on moral and spiritual education, creation of a fund of Orthodox literature;
  • countering the entry and dissemination of literature from pseudo-religious structures that pose a danger to the individual and society;
  • development of book exchange between secular and church libraries;
  • disclosure of funds of Orthodox literature using various forms and methods of work;
  • fostering a culture of reading Orthodox literature;
  • organization of joint scientific and practical conferences and readings, public events (reviews of new literature, conversations of kindness and piety, spiritual and moral readings, social hours, literary and historical holidays, competitions, thematic programs, literary evenings, cultural and educational events, round tables ”, oral journals) that help attract certain groups of the population to the library;
  • development and implementation within the framework of this project of a program to familiarize schoolchildren with the Bible;
  • attracting to mutually beneficial cooperation with the library institutions that work on the spiritual and moral education of the population.
