Library tours
We invite school classes and groups from kindergartens to interactive excursions around the Russian State Children's Library - the largest children's library in Russia!
On the excursion you will be able to look into the most interesting halls of the library , plunge into the variety of books, albums, sheet music, magazines that are in the library, visit the magical Fairy Tale Room , get acquainted with exhibitions of famous children's book illustrators, hear the announcement of open events for the coming month!
Excursion times: Monday - Friday from 10.30 to 17.00
The duration of the excursion is 1 hour.
The cost of the excursion is 3,000 rubles per group (a group of no more than 20 people, over 20 people - the group is divided into two subgroups, each of which is led by its own guide, payment is made for two groups).*
*Payment is made directly on the day of the excursion. Payment by bank transfer is possible by prior arrangement.
We also carry out:
- A tour of the library with a creative master class for groups of up to 20 people. Cost - 5000 rubles.
- A tour of the library with a filmstrip. Cost - 4000 rubles (over 20 people - the group is divided into two subgroups, each of which is led by its own guide, payment is made for two groups).
- A tour of the library with a fairy tale for younger students or a literary activity for older children. Cost - 5000 rubles (over 20 people - the group is divided into two subgroups, each of which is led by its own guide, payment is made for two groups).
It is possible to conduct excursions according to an individual scenario and for various categories and groups, including family and corporate excursions (conducted for groups of at least 6 people, payment - 500 rubles per person).

*Organized groups of preferential categories of visitors (children with disabilities, students of boarding schools and orphanages) have the right to free excursion services. To do this, you need to send a letter to the directorate of the RGBD addressed to the director of the RGBD Vedenyapina M.A. when booking a session in advance in the general manner.
